This article summarizes the major anti-nuclear arguments from Taiwanese newspapers and protesting groups' websites. These arguments are then analyzed. This article finds that, although ungrounded panic indeed existed, major anti-nuclear arguments are based on the objective truth of the risk of nuclear power. Nonetheless, these arguments overlook other risk in our normal life, which are far greater than the risk of nuclear power. This is also objective truth. In other words, nuclear power is not objectively more dangerous than other energy, but rather, the risk of nuclear power is subjectively highlighted.
