This study aimed to investigate the relevance between sport participation and well-being of college students. Based on the theory of Kenneth Fox, an assessment to the individual frequency of sport participation, the average intensity and time duration of perceptional exercises was made so as to explore the influence of students' sport participation on their well-being. The research data was mainly collected from the survey conducted among the freshmen and sophomores of Ming Chi Technology University in the academic year of 2014, including 1,571 participants in total. The methods of descriptive statistics, two-factor analysis of variance, and Pearson productmoment correlation method were applied for data analysis. The research results were listed as follows: 1. There was no interactive effect between all the other variables and sport participation. 2. The variables such as gender, age, whether being members of sports teams or sports associations, etc. showed no significant difference on affecting the subjective wellbeing of students. 3. Different extents of sport participation caused a significant difference on affecting students' subjective well-being. The level of subjective well-being among the groups of medium-high and high sport participation was superior to that among the groups of medium-low and low sport participation. 4. A low positive correlation between sport participation and subjective well-being of college students was shown. The higher level of students' sport participation was, the more intense their feelings of happiness tended to be.
