法鼓八式動禪參與者運動參與程度對幸福感與自覺健康之影響

The Relationship among the Degree of Exercise Participation, Well-Being and Self-Conscious Health in Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation Participants

摘要


目的:法鼓八式動禪是法鼓山聖嚴法師將禪修心法融入健身運動之中,發展出簡單易學且對身心平衡有幫助的動禪心法。本研究旨在探討法鼓八式動禪參與者之運動參與程度對幸福感與自覺健康之影響關係。方法:以2019年在法鼓山道場禪修之法鼓八式動禪參與者進行便利抽樣,有效問卷共311份。採用描述性統計、平均數分析、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森相關分析與多元逐步迴歸分析。結果:一、法鼓八式動禪參與者以女性居多(62.99 %);年齡以51-64歲中老年人居多(63.02 %);教育程度以大學(專科)以上居多(73.95 %)。二、法鼓八式動禪以中運動參與程度者居多(60.12 %)。三、法鼓八式動禪以中運動參與程度者在幸福感、自覺健康之感受程度皆高於高運動參與程度者與低運動參與程度者(p < .05)。四、幸福感與自覺健康呈現正相關(r = .51, p < .01),其中「生活滿意度」與「自覺健康」之相關程度最高(r= .61, p < .01)。五、幸福感對自覺健康具有預測力(r = .58, p < .01),兩個因素的解釋力為.33。結論:法鼓八式動禪以中運動參與程度之參與者在幸福感與自覺健康的感受程度最高;參與者獲得幸福感之感受程度越高,自覺健康之感受程度亦越高;是適合中老年族群的養生休閒運動。

Purpose: The Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation was developed by Master Shengyan, which is an easy-to-learn and mindfulness method of moving meditation, and is considered to be beneficial for physical and mental balance. The aim of this study was to explore the relationship among the degree of exercise participation, well-being and self-conscious health in Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation participants. Methods: A convenient sampling was conducted on valid questionnaires total 311 Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation participants at the Dharma Drum Dojo in 2019. The descriptive statistics, mean analysis, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis were applied in the study. Results: 1. The majority of participants in the Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation were female (62.99 %) and aged 51 - 64 of middle-aged elderly (63.02 %) with the majority having college and university degrees (73.95 %); 2. There was a 60.12 % participation rate for the middle exercise of the Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation; 3. The middle exercise participants in the Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation were more likely to be happy and conscious health than those of the high exercise participants and low exercise participants ( p < .05); 4. A positive correlation exists between well-being and perceived health ( r = .51, p < .01), among which "life satisfaction" and "perceived health" have the highest correlation ( r = .61, p < .01); 5. Well-being was predictive of perceived health ( r = .58, p < .01) and the explanatory power of the two factors was 0.33. Conclusion: The middle exercise participants in the Dharma Drum Eight-Form Moving Meditation had the highest level of happiness and conscious health. Higher feelings of happiness are accompanied by higher feelings of conscious health. Therefore, it is considered to be a healthy leisure exercise that is suitable for middle-aged elderly.
