摘要

「全球創業觀察（Global Entrepreneurship Monitor）」是一個國際性的創業調查組織（創始於1999年），每年在世界各會員國依照統一的研究方法、問卷及時間，收集第一手的創業活動資料，長期下來已累積豐富的資料庫，其資料被廣泛使用於學術研究之上，並發表於創業相關之國際期刊，具有相當程度之學術影響力。本文旨在探討GEM資料庫在現有研究上的發展與貢獻，並回顧13篇使用GEM資料的實證文獻，以釐清GEM所探討的研究主題、理論基礎、研究方法、發現，以及可能的限制，最後提出未來研究之建議。

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is an international entrepreneurship research project started in 1999. Each year, GEM national teams will collect data in the same research design, methodology, questionnaire, and time. From the past 10 years, GEM builds a multi-countries and panel dataset and many papers published in academic journal. This paper focuses on the existing literature status and contributions of GEM data. Therefore, we will initially review the existing entrepreneurship literature (13 papers) that use GEM data to both understand the current research topics, theoretical grounding, findings, potential limitations, and where we need to move in the future.
