摘要


以鎳鉻線製成之單環螺線(Single turn helix)為填料,玻管為塔身,研製一適合實驗室用之高效分餾塔。塔徑2.25 cm.,填料高度150 cm.,蒸氣速度每分鐘7.5 ml. (液體)時,其分餾效率相當於一62理想板之分餾塔。并詳述分餾塔之製造、保溫方式以及用正庚烷-甲基環己烷混合液制定其理想板數之方法等。

An efficient glass fractionating column, 2.25 cm in diameter and 150 cm in height, was constructed using single turn helix as packing material. The single turn helix was made of nichrome wire (No.30), 0.238 cm in diameter. It was estimated that the efficiency of this column was equivalent to about 62 theoretical plates when vapor velocity was 7.5 ml. of liquid per minute. The method of construction of the column and the procedure of determining the number of theoretical plate are described in details.
