The Study of Some Modified Polyurethane (V): The Effects of UV Curable PU Compositions on PU Films

摘要


本報告之紫外光硬化型PU系統,係由PPG-400或1000與甲苯異氰酸酯反應,再以2-羥基乙基甲基丙烯酸酯為末端基之反應性PU寡聚合物。本系統使用有效的光起始劑(或光敏化劑),安息香醚系,二苯甲酮,烷基苯甲酼甲酸酯等在紫外光譜分別為λ_(max)248,253和255 nm。在PU系統中反應性稀釋劑TMPTA的濃度與組成(TMPTA與EHA之比例),多元醇的分子量和NCO%等這些變數均影響硬化後的PU薄膜的性質,如膠含量、硬度、抗張強度、撞擊強度伸長率、模數和熱性質等。

Polyether polyols-based UV curable PU systems were prepared from the reactions of polypropylene glycols (PPG-400 or 1000), with excess of toluene diisocyanates, and 2-hydroxy-ethyl-methacrylate as the terminal groups. The effective photoinitiators (or photosensitizers), benzoin alkyl ethers, benzophenone, and alkylbenzoyl formate had λ_(max) at 248, 253 and 255 nm, respectively. Some variables of this UV curable PU systems were applied: 1. concentrations and compositions of diluents (TMPTA and EHA); 2. molecular weights of polyols; 3. NCO%(concentrations of vinyl groups) . The effects of the properties of cured PU films among these variables, such as, gel contents, pencil hardness, tensile strength , impact strength, elongation, modulus, and thermal properties were investigated.
