本文就這二十年來,雷射誘發螢光光譜技術其在雙原子分子的位能曲線、解離能以及凡得瓦爾係數的探測上,在診斷量子化學理論的適用性上,以及在光泵浦雷射方面的認識與發展上等三方面所扮演的角色作一簡要回顧。
During the past twenty years, growing developments of laser-induced fluorescence and its related spectroscopic techniques have been fruitful. Now nearly-complete potential energy curves, very accurate dissociation energies and long-range coefficients of diatomic molecules can be easily determined. Validities of some quantum mechanical/chemical approximations, such as Bom-Oppenheirner approximation, perturbation phenomena and curve-crossing problems, may be tested and probed today. Several new excited electronic states of diatomic molecules have been discovered recently. Several new optically-pumped dimer lasers have also been realized and constructed.
