自從民國五十年代高中化學採用高層次教材迄今,學生產生錯誤概念的問題一直是化學界很關切的一件大事,而包括大學必修科目在內各級學校教材,使用高層次或混合使用不同層次的理論模型是導致上述情況的主要原因。

The introduction of a fragment a portion, or the whole of the modern theories by sacrificing the fundamental principles and basic concept necessary for the beginners to learn in the chemistry text books used levels of schools, colleges, and even universities is found to be the chief cause of the students' misconception in chemistry. Since, every theory is a continuous process, and is not a pile-up of fragmentary parts, any tiny part of a theory requires the knowledge about the whole process. Without sound scientific background, modern theories are too divvicult to understand even for those students at the formal operational level.
