摘要


利用簡易的器材設計一套水的分解與水的合成之微型電化學實驗裝置,此一實驗裝置價格低廉(每套只需約20~30元),除了可將水分解成氫氣和氧氣之外,還可將分解產生的氫氣和氧氣再化合成水,此套微型電化學實驗裝置並兼有能演示微型氫氧水火箭發射及微型氫氧環保化學鞭炮的功能。

The experiment of decomposition and synthesis of water plays an important role in chemistry course. This paper introduces a new low-cost (NT$ 20~30/set) design and operation of microscale electrochemistry experiment in both microscale electrolysis and microscale synthesis of water from the hydrogen and oxygen gases, which are produced by electrolysis, The results indicate that decomposition and synthesis of water and its applications for teaching demonstrations of microscale water rocket and environmental chemical firecrackers. With this new simple apparatus, the amounts of chemicals consumed and waste produced during these microscale electrochemistry experiments were greatly reduced in comparison with those in the traditional electrochemistry experiments. Hence, the promotion of microscale electrochemistry experiment apparatus for chemistry course may be worthy.
