護專學生個人屬性對化學學習動機之影響

Relationships on College Students Characters and Chemical Academic Learning Motivation

摘要


本研究旨在探討護專學生個人屬性對化學學習動機之影響,其次分析護專學生對化學學科之學習動機取向。本研究樣本採便利取樣方式,選取北部某護理專科學校之五專、二專部及在職專班一年級正在修習化學相關課程之學生共604 位進行調查,以結構式問卷收集資料,並以描述及相關性統計進行分析。結果顯示 (1) 學生個人屬性之年齡與家庭社經狀況與學習動機達統計上顯著正相關;(2) 在職專班及工作年資大於10 年之學生其整體學習動機大於其他人;(3) 整體學習動機平均得分為62.57 分,其中目標取向得分率高於學習自我效能及成功失敗歸因,且三者得分率皆屬於中上程度。研究結果期望能提供化學相關課程教師對於提昇學生學習動機之參考依據。

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of nursing college students’ characters on their chemical academic learning motivation, and to examine the distribution on their characters and chemical academic learning motivation. Convenient samples with structural questionnaire were collected from 604 students, who are studying in five-year, two-year, and extension education programs at one northern nursing college. SPSS 10.0 for Windows was employed to data management and analyses. Results of this study are described as follows: 1. The age, family background, and social position of students were significantly related to the student’s characters and learning motivation. 2. Students studying in extension education program with above 10 years-working experience was significantly related to the student’s characters and learning motivation. 3. The average of total learning motivation was gained at 62.57 points, in which the gained points of objective direction was higher than that of self-efficacy and causing attribution of success and failure, and three of them were on the middle-top grade. The results of this study would provide the understanding of the impact of chemistry instructors and college students on learning motivation. It also can be used by the administration chiefs for the reference on measuring academic results and faculties on their teaching styles.
