A Survey Study of Child-Care Service Satisfactions in Tainan City

摘要

本研究係探討臺南巿托嬰中心家長對托育服務之滿意度，以及探討家庭背景變項在不同面向之托育服務的滿意度是否有差異。本研究以問卷方式以臺南市托嬰中心的家長為對象進行施測，有效問卷為605份。結果發現：在托育政策方面，家長送托會優先選擇準公共化托嬰中心；最為重視的托育政策為育嬰補助；家長得知托嬰中心的主要管道最多的為自行尋找。在嬰幼兒家長對托育服務滿意度之現況方面，滿意度屬於中上程度，在行政措施滿意度的平均值最高，嬰幼兒發展之現況的平均數最低。家長背景變項與滿意度之差異性分析方面，子女人數在二人的家庭對行政措施的滿意度最高；祖父母對於教保活動師資的滿意度顯著大於父親與母親；父親對嬰幼兒語言的發展滿意度為最高。

The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey of parental satisfaction with child-care services and beliefs about child-care policy, and to look for demographic factors related to these opinions. The participants were 605 parents with infants or toddlers enrolled in nursery schools in Tainan City. The results showed: In terms of child-care and policy, the preferred choice was the quasi-public nursery school. In terms of child-care policy, parents placed greatest value on child-care subsidies. The most common channel for transmission of information about infant care centers was for parents to proactively seek information themselves. Overall, the results revealed a medium to high level of parental satisfaction with child-care services, with the highest average level of satisfaction being with administrative measures and the lowest with the status of infant and toddler development. Some significant differences were found in parental background variables, with families of more than two children having the highest levels of satisfaction with administrative measures, and grandparents reporting significantly higher satisfaction with childcare activities and teacher quality than parents. In the infant and toddler language development area, fathers had a significantly higher rate of satisfaction than others.
