There are tremendous opportunities and challenges for food and beverage management in our near future. World populations are putting pressure on the total capacity to nourish the populations. Our collective creative genius will be stiffled if people are not well fed. New discoveries in all areas of food production, processing and distribution will be found. Your conservation measures and inventive solutions to supply and demand will dictate how well our populations enjoy the gift of life. By providing safe and health enhancing food services, you will claim a unique place in the health and prosperity of your customers. Are you up to the challenge? Turn once again to the people around you, as you did at the very beginning of my presentation. Talk about these issues, form your goals and plans so that the new millennium brings the brightest ideas and benefits to your country. Thank you for your attention.
