屈原悲情意識之文化意義初探

屈原是中國悲情文化中的一個重要象徵，因他思想中所呈現的愁思悲感貫穿了文化悲情意識中的巨大跨度。他個人的生命困境是政治上的，但他卻以人生至中所常見的昔時、情愛、思鄉的日常愁緒來呈現。此開創性的示範，擴大了日常生活中的悲情意識的深度及廣度，也是歷代陷入困境的人往往用此方式來表現自己的深憂悲感。而他自沉的文化意義在於他「以死問生」的堅決來探尋個體命的生存價值。他的人格特質、精神價值、內心衝突與生命困境，影響了歷代的文人，幾乎成為了一種共同的文化人格，其在文化上的意義不亞於他在文學上的貢獻。我們從他的心靈掙扎與不幸遭逢中，產生一種道德上的自我反省，從而向一種人格的高峰攀登。故本文欲從此角度探索屈原的悲情意識及其在中國文化上的意義。

Chiu-Yuan is an important symbol of Tragedy in Chinese culture, because the sense of worry and sadness which are expressed in his thought covers a great span of the consciousness of cultural sadness. The predicament of his personal life was political, but he showed it through common feelings in ordinary life such as cherishing time, love and homesickness. This creative demonstration not only makes the consciousness of sadness in ordinary life deeper and broader, but has also helped people who are in political predicaments use this method to express their worries and sadness since then. The cultural meaning of his killing himself by drowning is to look for the meaning of existence of individuals by the determination of 『questioning living through dying』. His character, spirit, aura, inner conflicts and life predicaments have influenced intellectuals since then, and have virtually become a general cultural characteristic, so that the cultural meaning is not less than his contribution to literature. His spiritual struggle and tragedy cause us to do some moral introspections from which we can fully develop our character. This research tries to seek from this angle the consciousness of tragedy of Chiu-Yuan and its meaning to Chinese culture.
