學校護理人員緊急傷病處理自我效能之探討

School Nurses' Self-Efficacy of Urgent Care

摘要


背景:隨著校園緊急傷病事件增加,學校護理人員的緊急傷病處理自我效能逐漸受到重視。目的:探討學校護理人員緊急傷病處理自我效能及其影響因素。方法:研究採橫斷面調查,針對中臺灣三縣市國小、國中與高中職學校護理人員於年度進修研習會時進行方便取樣,收案條件為須工作滿6個月,非職務代理人,現場符合收案條件共計347人,實際收得有效可分析樣本共計289人(回收率為83.28%)。以結構式問卷收集學校護理人員之人口學特質、學校環境、緊急傷病處理知識、態度與自我效能。結果:學校護理人員緊急傷病處理知識、態度與自我效能屬中上程度,自我效能表現良好程度之構面依序為「當時處理」、「事前預防」與「事後管理」。影響學校護理人員緊急傷病處理自我效能顯著之預測因素為緊急傷病處理的態度與校內急救設備充足性,可解釋整體自我效能40.5%。結論與建議:為強化學校護理人員緊急傷病處理自我效能,建議學校應定期盤點校內急救設備與耗材並適時補充;另外,亦可透過緊急傷病研習與分享,提升學校護理人員對緊急傷病處理之正向態度,進而提升其自我效能。

Background: With the increase in emergency injuries and illnesses on campus, the self-efficacy of school nurses in urgent care is gradually being valued. Purpose: To explore the self-efficacy and its related factors of school nurses in urgent care. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was adopted, and a convenient sampling was used in elementary, junior high and high vocational schools in three counties in Central Taiwan during the annual training conference. The including criteria of subject was work experience more than six months and substitute nurse was excluded. There were 347 subjects qualified this criteria, and a total of 289 samples were analyzable (response rate was 83.28%). A structured questionnaire was used to collect data on school nurses' demographic characteristics, school environment, urgent care knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy. Results: School nurses' knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy of urgent care are at the moderate to high level. The domains of self-efficacy in a descending order were: response, preparedness and recovery. The significant predictors affecting the self-efficacy of school nurses in urgent care were the attitude toward urgent care and the adequacy of emergency equipment in the school. These variables can explain 40.5% of the overall self-efficacy. Conclusions and implications: In order to strengthen the self-efficacy of school nurses in dealing with emergency injuries and illnesses, it is recommended that the school nurses should inventory first aid equipment periodical on campus, and provide supplement in time. Furthermore, to cultivate the school nurses' positive attitude towards urgent care by seminar or experiences sharing, thereby enhance their self-efficacy.
