Li, Zhao-Io is a key representative of Yang-Hu school, he has a nickname called "Man of Renaissance", he stresses the practical and comprehensive side of learning, and he proposes the theory of "Words spoken for heart"( 「言為心聲」 ), looks upon true feeling, and the importance of article truth as well as the combination of prose and parallel prose. Li 's articles are full of clearance and freedom, and a spirit of making the world better. The theories of Li, Zhao-Io , especially his literary view of improving the world, the theory of combining learning and article, and the theory of combining prose and parallel prose, all play functional role in the birth of early modern way of thinking, owns unique status and influence in the history of Chinese literature.
