從「汙衊言語的性教育」探討情慾主體-馬來西亞的在地觀

From 'the insulted words in Sexuality Education' Study Individual Eroticism-the Malaysian Points of View

摘要


本研究的動機是因為在本年度的四月期間,報章和網站皆報導了馬來西亞的其中一間華小聘請了一名自稱是性教育講師到校教授學童性教育,其所教導的方式頗令人爭議。研究者是透過訪談三名女大學生,探究她們對觀看謾罵同性戀,婚外情及婚前性行為的『性教育』新聞影片,進一步勾畫出馬來西亞作為多元文化,多元宗教和多元種族的國家,性還是處於保守的階段之下,不當的性教育如何在學府中呈現,以及青少年因色情片和網路的發達,生理臻於早熟的狀況。青少年處在對性保守的社會,受色情發達的媒體的衝擊之下,缺乏對避孕知識的效能,在偷嚐禁果之後所帶來的負面反應和衝擊,促成性教育的推行。本章主要探討馬來西亞處在文化,宗教和民族多元的社會,以及以異性戀一夫一妻制的傳統婚姻制度之下,一般民眾如何看待個人情慾及接納多元情慾,從而提出學校在傳授性知識時,除了傳授生理的知識之外,也須考量不同情慾之個體,尊重不同性取向和肯定情感外移的現實狀況和接納不同的價值觀。本章同時也指出學校性教育不足之處,而給於學校推行性教育的正面方向之建議。

The motivation of this research was due to the watching the TVBS news and the article widely published by the local newspapers in Malaysia. It is about one Chinese primary school which employed an outsider to teach sexuality education among a large number of pupils in Malaysia. The way the teacher conducted his lesson became a controversial issue among the local people. The researcher interviewed three female students in Shu-Te University. From the interview the researcher found out that the general public see homosexuality, sexual life before marriage and extramarital sex as an insult to them. These different sexual behavious caused the insulted words to be uttered by the teacher who conducted in the sexuality education among the pupils. Malaysia is still a conservative country in matters of sex. Teenagers living in this multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-religious country found pornographic films widely available on the internet. This problem and the immaturity of teenagers caused them to have earlier sexual relationships. Without the knowledge of contraception, teenagers created unwanted babies and abandoned them. This matter became a big issue in the society. Thus, sexuality education should be started early in primary schools. The main purpose of this research is to study how Malaysians living in the monogamous system of society sees individual eroticism from which an individual explores his/her sexual desire freely and the level of acceptance of multi eroticism in which everyone has the right to explore their sexual desires such as extramarital affair. From here, the researcher suggests that there should be respect for the difference in sexual orientation, sexual life before marriage and extramarital sex after marriage. Besides, the researcher also points out the lack of sexuality education in schools and further suggests a positive way in conducting the education.
