赤蘚醇噴砂系統於牙周暨植體治療之應用

摘要


新一代的赤蘚醇(erythritol)噴砂粉末原為食品甜味劑,使用於人體不但安全性高,因其顆粒更小更不易傷害牙根表面。為了能達成更理想的感染控制,其成分中合併使用氯己定,於數篇口外研究中顯示有更明顯的抗菌效果。運用在牙齦下區域的生物膜去除,無論是真牙或植體周圍皆有牙周探測深度、出血的改善及臨床附連的增加(clinical attachment gain)。雖然上述臨床參數的改善仍無法完全控制牙周或植體之感染,亦無法取代傳統的超音波洗牙和結石刮除等機械性清創,但其仍提供另一種控制發炎感染的術式選擇。
