摘要
角膜移植手術，由原本的全層角膜移植，在近十多年來有了新的突破與進展，往分層角膜移植的方向邁進。若病患僅是角膜內皮細胞的相關疾病，因為內皮細胞功能不良而引起的角膜水腫，現在可以考慮不置換全層的角膜，而採用角膜內皮細胞移植手術。目前的角膜移植需來終究自於捐贈，為了突破組織不足及術後排斥的問題，現在世界各國也在研究角膜細胞治療的可能性。
