考古文物的再脈絡化展示－以中央研究院歷史語言研究所歷史文物陳列館為例

摘要

考古文物脈絡的重要性無庸置疑，其是考古學家瞭解考古文物及其周遭環境的歷史文化底蘊的重要依據，故受到考古學家的重視。對大眾而言，瞭解考古文物的脈絡，也能更進一步增進對考古學及考古文物的認識。歷史及考古博物館是一個合適的地方，讓大眾認識考古學及考古文物。博物館應在展示中著重脈絡性，將「去脈絡化」的考古文物「再脈絡化」，賦予考古文物新生命，使大眾得以嘗試從考古學家的角度瞭解考古文物。本文以中央研究院歷史語言研究所歷史文物陳列館為例，探討該館考古文物的再脈絡化展示，供歷史及考古博物館專業人員參考，並希望提高香港、臺灣或其他亞洲地區的博物館專業人員及學者對博物館考古學的關注。

The archaeological context of relics is important, as it is the basis on which archaeologists understand the historical and cultural value of archaeological relics. For the general public, the archaeological context of relics results in better comprehension of archaeology and archaeological relics. Historical or archaeological museums are suitable places for the general public to learn about archaeology and archaeological relics. Museum exhibitions should focus on contextuality, to recontextualize archaeological relics that have become separated from their context and give them new life. In this way, the general public can attempt to understand archaeological relics from the perspective of archaeologists. In this paper, the Museum of the Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica serves as a case study. Its exhibitions that involve the recontextualization of archaeological relics are analyzed to provide references for historical and archaeological museum professionals and to raise awareness of museum archaeology among museum professionals and scholars in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia.
