Use of Bacillus thuringiensis (Biobit 120 bp/ml FP, 800 and 1500 x, Bag-A-Bug 120 bp/ml FP, 1500x; Thuricide 300 bp/ g WP, 1000x; and 1.76% 4L EC, 800x and 1600x) was effective for control of both Plutells xylostella and Attogeia rapae with in 7 days after application. Spraying of granulosis viruses (GVs) of P. xylostclla and A. rapae of 1 LE/L-1 LE/2L alone or in combinatin was also effective for control of both insects and lasted for 14 days in the field. GVs were superior to B. thuringiensis in controlling these two insects due to their greater persistence.
