From a legal perspective, this study explored how Taiwan can establish connections with Mongolian and Tibetan cultures and how relevant regulations and practices should be adjusted on the basis of the existing unique political context. After document analysis and the comparative method, this study concluded that the focus of relevant policies in Taiwan should be on establishing connections with Mongolian Tibetan cultures considering that the Mongolia and Tibet regions are no longer under the jurisdiction of the Taiwanese government. Accordingly, the inheritance of Mongolian and Tibetan cultures in Taiwan can continue through localized approaches.
