臺灣當代兒童文學開步走－談洪建全兒童文學創作獎（1974～1992）

摘要
1974年「洪建全兒童文學創作獎」創立，在臺灣兒童文學史上是一項相當重要的大事。這項由洪建全教育文化基金會所主辦之文學獎一共舉行了十八屆，一度成為臺灣兒童文學界最重要之年度盛事；而洪文瓊在選擇臺灣兒童文學史上的指標性事件時，便將洪建全兒童文學創作獎之設立列入其中一項，可見其重要性。因此本文逐一收集與該文學獎相關之文獻資料做史料整理的工作，同時從各類論述文章中，歸納出四項洪建全兒童文學創作獎對臺灣兒童文學之主要貢獻：鼓勵兒童文學創作風氣、培養兒童文學創作者、提高兒童讀物水準、開創企業資助兒童文學活動的先河。此外，本文也同時介紹洪建全教育文化基金會的沿革、工作內容，並且整理出洪建全兒童文學創作獎相關之論述文獻、該獎歷屆得獎名單、該獎徵稿辦法沿革以及洪建全教育文化基金會出版之兒童文學相關讀物等表格，以供後人研究參考用。

Hong Chien-Chuan Children's Literature Award, the very first children's literature award in Taiwan, was funded by Hong's Foundation for Education and Culture in 1974. It lasted for eighteen years, and every year was a grand event to the field of children's literature. Its importance has made Hong Wen-Chiung select it one of the milestones in the history of Taiwan children's literature. Therefore, I collect as many historical documents related to this award as possible, and from those documents I conclude four major contributions that Hong Chien-Chuan Children's Literature Award made to Taiwan children's literature-encouraging people to devote themselves to children's literature, discovering talented writers and illustrators who could do children's literature, raising the quality of publications in Taiwan children's literature, and affecting other enterprises to start supporting children's literature activities. In addition, I not only introduce the history of Hong's Foundation for Education and Culture and its working goals in this article, but also attach lists of articles and records which comment on or describe this award, of award-winning names, of notices of inviting contributions through the eighteen year, and of chiIdren's books published by Hong's foundation with this article.
