做自己從動手做手製繪本開始-探究繪本創作教學之相關出版品中的教學概念

摘要


近年來手製繪本已然成為一股流行風潮,自2000至2005年,坊間有關手製繪本教學的書籍陸續出版,本文將這些相關出版品,依據其行銷訴求分為兩類:一為利用手製繪本做為自我表現的媒介;二是將手製繪本運用在兒童教育上。並探討其課程規劃結構及所蘊含之教學概念。經比較後發現:在行銷手法上,此二類出版品皆強調手製繪本「簡單易學」,課程編排皆具有「實例示範教學」,以協助讀者理解。在第一類出版品中,以「人人皆有創作的能力」的概念來激發讀者的創作動機,因此有關如何培養創作習慣、態度以及開發想像力是書中訴求的重點。以第二類出版品而言,可分為兩種不同方式呈現:一是針對學童學習的需求及教學實戰經驗的分享,因此學生的作品成為書中的展示焦點,也顯示出該作者的教學成果。二是強調手製繪本做為遊戲書的娛樂性功能,以配合故事的發展,結合書的折疊、翻頁、拉頁、操作等設計,形成有趣的遊戲書。手製繪本的教學沒有一定的模式,端賴讀者的個別需求。

Recently; a practice of hand-made picture books has been a popular trend in Taiwan. Several guide books designed to fulfill this demand were published during 2000--2005. This article is an attempt to investigate the implied teaching approaches to this kind of know-how books through an analysis of curriculum design in the books. They were divided into two categories according to their marketing strategies: the use of hand-made picture books as a means to self-expression and as a-means to education for children. Both of these two types of books show the notion that it is easy to learn about how to make hand-made picture books. Moreover, comprehensive demonstrations are the major concern in the curriculum design. The first group of books motivates readers with the idea that "everyone has one's creative potential." Therefore, how to cultivate one's habit and attitude of being creative is the essential element. There are two different ways to present the ideas in the second group of books. One way is to share more teaching tips and experience in the classroom setting. Thus, showcase of students' work, as authors' teaching performance, is a focus of this type of books. The other way is to place an emphasis on hand-made picture books for entertainment. Such books are a combination of storytelling and the design of book-making techniques, such as folding up, turning over, pulling pages, and the like, with which readers can play. There is no one model of teaching hand-made picture books. It depends on individual needs.
