藝術圖版的精選與賞析：編寫空中大學藝術類教科書的一些思考

空中大學是以隔空教育為主的大學，也是以成人終身學習為職志的大學。教科書是實踐空中大學教育理念的重要工具，藝術類教科書則是其中不可或缺的一環。空中大學自創校開始，便將教科書讀者預設為大專學生；實踐多年後，再預設讀者為一般大眾；又實踐多年後，終預設讀者為必須量身訂做的個別群體，一步一步貼近社會各階層之需求。全民藝術教育必須透過藝術傑作之賞析達成，清晰的藝術圖版及深入淺出的文字，是推廣藝術賞析必備的兩輪。空中大學藝術類教科書發展卅餘年，藝術賞析的教育目標，因社會環境之挑戰，逐漸變得模糊不清。本論文以為，使用清晰明確的藝術圖版，條理分明的解說文字，再搭配預設的學習功能，可讓空中大學藝術類教科書，在當前出版市場穩定成長，並可以發揮積極的教育功能。

Besides focusing on distance learning, achieving lifelong learning for adult is also our goal at National Open University. National Open University considers textbook a vital tool for realizing our education philosophy, and arts textbook is an indispensable part of it. Since the founding of National Open University, our target reader of the textbook is College Student. But after using these textbook for years, we see general public as our target reader. Many years later, we realize that we need to customize our textbook for different groups of people. Our goal is to gradually meet the needs from every society stratum. In order to achieve arts education for all, we need to start with art appreciation. To promote art appreciation, sharp artwork image and text that explain profound theories in simple language are indispensable. National Open University has been developing arts textbook for more than three decades. During this period, social challenges raised, and the education goal for art appreciation became vague. This study argues that by using sharp and clear artwork image, well organized description along with preset learning function, National Open University's arts textbook could grow steadily in current publishing market. Meanwhile, National Open University's arts textbook with these features could also play an active role in education.
