車載玻璃創新雷射加工技術

Innovative Laser Processing Technology for Automotive Glass Cutting

摘要


2020年全球汽車總產量將上看1億台且未來陸續導入先進駕駛輔助系統之情況下,每輛車的玻璃使用量將由原本的35%提升至40%。為了因應汽車產業少量但多樣化的需求,傳統玻鑽石刀機械式切割由於製程轉換繁瑣、後處理研磨製程造成之玻璃粉塵與水汙染環保問題,以及未來車載玻璃電子裝置需無水式的加工製程等條件下,已經無法滿足需求。因此工研院針對汽車玻璃載具需求,提供整套雷射加工製程解決方案,預期以先進雷射加工技術推動台灣玻璃產業進行轉型升級,接軌國際發展趨勢讓台灣在車載玻璃加工市場維持競爭力。

By 2020, global annual sales of light vehicles are projected to reach 100 million units and the demand for adopting Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is growing rapidly. Hence the usage of glass for each vehicle is expected to increase from 35% to 40%. With complicated process conversion procedures and requirement of post-processing to handle glass dust and water pollution problems, the conventional diamond scribing and breaking method are outdated and cannot meet the nowadays small volume, diversed and waterfree requirements for the future automotive industry. Therefore, ITRI has developed a novel laser processing technology to align with global trends and to provide a solution to transform and upgrade the automotive glass industry in Taiwan. This advanced laser processing technology has significant advantages over conventional mechanical methods to ensure our competitiveness in the global automotive glass processing market.
