摘要

智慧型運輸系統（Intelligent Transportation Systems, ITS）已是全球主要國家重要政策發展方向之一，其發展至今已近30年，隨新興科技與軟硬體技術提升，技術整合成為推動之主要內容，因應各國不同運輸需求，發展重點與項目也略有不同，但皆以提升運輸系統之安全、效率與永續性為主要目標。本文將針對全球主要國家於ITS之政策重點與發展方向進行介紹。

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) has become one of the important policies of major countries in the world. ITS is being developed for nearly 30 years, with emerging technologies and software and hardware upgrades, the technology integration has become the main development item. Different transportation needs lead to different development priorities and projects among different countries. However the main goal keeps consistent, namely to improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the transportation systems. This article introduces the policy and development of ITS in major countries in the world.
