自製隱身牆活動對偏鄉國小學童概念知識表現之影響

摘要


為了輔助偏遠學校「自然與生活科技領域」課程教學,本研究以科學探索箱形式,提供偏鄉國小教學資源,讓學童透過動手做與觀察、實驗的過程進行學習。本研究以參與科技部科普計畫「科學探索箱-隱身牆」活動的6所偏鄉國小五到六年級學童為對象,探討偏鄉學童參與動手做活動的概念知識表現表現。研究採用前實驗法,以自編隱身牆概念知識評量問卷進行前、後測,有效樣本111份。透過t檢定及單因子共變數分析,研究結果發現:(1)參與活動前學童在概念知識表現屬中等;(2)學童在動手做活動後,在概念知識表現有顯著提升;(3)透過單因子共變數分析發現參與活動的學生在概念知識表現方面,則因年級與性別不同而具顯著差異。研究結果顯示「科學探索箱-隱身牆」活動確實有助於提升學童的概念知識表現,而年級與性別對學童概念知識表現上具有影響力。

This study provided scientific exploration kits which encourage students to learn by doing and hands-on experiencing. The purpose was to investigate the learning achievement of the fifth to sixth grades of 6 remote area schools before and after attending the activities. This study applied the concept evaluation scales as tools, and collected 111 effective samples. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t test and ANCOVA. The findings of this study were presented as follows: (1) before the activities, the conceptual knowledge is above average; (2) the conceptual knowledge is significantly improved after attending the activities; (3) there was significant difference on conceptual knowledge according to the grade and sex. This outcomes of this study showed that the scientific exploration kits activities did enhance the remote area pupils' learning achievement.
