Neocaridina denticulata (De Haan, 1884) is a very common freshwatre Caridean shrimp in Taiwan. Under laboratory conditions of 23-26°C. the larvae hatched out in the 30th day. The larvae experienced five molts and closely resembled with the adults in 19 days after hatching at water temperature of 18-22 °C. The color and size of the eggs, as well as the morphological characteristics of the different larval stages were described and illustrated. The results of the present study were compared with those reported for the same specie s collected in Japan.
