以虛實整合遊戲為例研發一個結合STEAM創客於遊戲設計課程之新式教學

Development a New Teaching Method by Integrating STEAM/Maker with Game Design Course: An Example of a Virtual Reality Game

摘要


近年來,數位遊戲產業成為最具有影響力的產業之一。關於數位遊戲設計,如何在遊戲中整合真實與虛擬物件是一項重要的議題。同時,如何培育學生具有虛實整合的能力被認為是數位遊戲設計教學中的重要挑戰。本研究於遊戲設計課程中導入STEAM創客概念以協助學生設計製作虛實整合數位遊戲。根據研究結果,學生透過教案安排能夠應用跨領域知識並設計製作一款虛擬實境自行車遊戲。這類研究成果對於遊戲設計教學課程的發展將有所助益,同時相關學者可以根據研究成果繼續發展其它相關研究。

In recent years, digital game design industry becomes the one of the most important industries. About the digital game design, how to combine the physical and virtual components in the digital game is the most important content. At the same time, how to foster students’ abilities of integrating physical and virtual components is considered as the important challenge in the digital game design course. The purpose of this study is to incorporate the concept of STEAM/Maker in the digital game design course and to support students developing virtual reality digital game. According to the result, students not only apply a variety of areas of knowledge through the lesson plans but also design and create the virtual reality bicycle game. The research results will be benefit for the development of game design course, and the scholar can design other studies according to the research results in the future.
