眾所周知觀光產業的永續發展需要穩定的客源市場,而產品質量與多樣性,則是穩定市場的重要指標。但在市場極度競爭的態勢下,穩定性必然招致挑戰,此時產業的戰略性選擇則成為一個重要的課題。日本的溫泉產業與民宿業,多年來始終處於穩定增長趨勢,關鍵就在於有先進理念的指導和對傳統文化的執著。台灣的觀光資源與日本有較大的類似性,日本溫泉產業與民宿業的發展經驗可為台灣觀光產業的戰略選擇,提供一個借鑑與參考。
