Notes on the Reptiles Collected from the Offshore Islets of Penghu Archipelago

摘要

A total of eleven specimens of four species of lizards and one species of snake were collected from the offshore islets of Penghu Archipelago. They were Hemidactylus bowringii, H. frenatus, Takydromus stejnegeri, Eumeces elegans and Ramphotyphlops braminus. This was the first herpetological record reported for Gupo-Yu, Wangan and Chihmei. H. bowringii was the new record for Penghu Archipelago.

在1990年1月，筆者等利用機會探討了澎湖的姑婆嶼（Gupo-Yu）、望安（Wangan）、七美（Chihmei）和將軍嶼（Kiangjung-Yu）等離島及澎湖本島。調查人員在調查過程中共採集到無疣蝎虎（Hemidactylus bowringii）、蝎虎（H. frenatus）、蓬萊草蜥（Takydromus stejnegeri）、麗蚊石龍子（Eumeces elegans）及盲蛇（Ramphotyphlops braminus）等11隻標本。對這些離島而言，這些都是屬於爬蟲類的首次紀錄，而無疣蝎虎對澎湖地區而言，更是第一次的報導。
