影片示範教學提升國小學習障礙學生數學面積解題學習成效之研究

The effects of video modeling on learning geometry concepts of students with learning disabilities in elementary school

摘要


本研究目的主要為探討影片示範教學對國小學習障礙學生的數學面積解題學習成效之影響。研究對象為三位安置於國小資源班的高年級學習障礙學生。研究方法採單一受試跨受試多探試設計,自變項為影片示範教學,依變項為受試者在數學面積解題的正確百分比。實驗階段包括基線期、介入處理期、維持期與類化期,共進行十三週,每週介入三次。教學內容為國小五年級之面積單元,包含三角形、平行四邊形與梯形之公式計算。研究結果以視覺分析法及Tau-U統計進行資料呈現、分析與解釋,並輔以受試者與其資源班教師之訪談質性資料作為社會效度的表現。本研究主要結果統整如下:一、影片示範教學對增進國小學習障礙學生數學面積解題能力具有立即成效。二、影片示範教學對增進國小學習障礙學生數學面積解題能力具有維持成效。三、影片示範教學對增進國小學習障礙學生數學面積解題能力具有類化成效。四、三位受試者及其資源班教師對於影片示範教學策略均具正面看法。本研究結果可作為未來研究與臨床教師在發展影片示範教學於數學面積解題相關教材的參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of video modeling on the ability to solve geometry problems of students with learning disabilities. The multiple- probe across subjects was utilized in this study. There were three participants students with learning disabilities placed in a self-contained classroom of an elementary school in Miaoli county, Taiwan. The independent variable of this study was the video modeling program of solving geometry problems and the dependent variable was the correct percentage of geometry tests. The intervention phase was divided into four phases including the baseline, the experimental instruction, maintenance, and generalization phase. The duration of intervention lasted for about thirteen weeks, three times a week. The contains of the program including how to calculate the area of triangles, parallelogram, and trapezoid. The data was analyzed by visual analysis and the Tau-U test. The social validity analysis was also supplemented by subjects and their homeroom teacher. The major results of this study were as follows: 1. The video modeling instruction presented immediately effect on improving the ability to solve geometry problems within all subjects. 2. The effect was maintained even the interventions were withdrawn. 3. The results also showed the generalizing effect after the invention. 4. The responses from subjects and their teachers were positive and presented a high willingness to re-join the experimental teaching. According to the results, discussions, and limitations of this study, as well as some suggestions for the teaching and further studies were made.
