國內電信服務業之脈絡分析及經營策略研究-以中華電信為例

The Context Analysis and Business Strategies of Telecom Service Industry in Taiwan: A Case Study of Chunghwa Telecom

摘要


本文採用次級資料分析及個案研究法,首先回顧相關的研究文獻及報告,對國內電信服務市場的演變與現況進行歸納、整理與分析,再以個案研究分析的方式,探討中華電信從獨占壟斷電信服務市場到迎戰全面自由化的競爭市場之經營策略與佈局,然後提出電信服務業發展與經營方向之建議。研究結果發現:(1)行動數據已成為行動通信業者獲利的主力,故業者應加強行動傳輸頻寬之提及加值服務內容的提供,才能取得競爭之優勢。(2)數位匯流趨勢下Cable及FTTx用戶持續成長,電信服務業者之加值服務多元性為搶得市佔率的關鍵。(3)雲端運算發展為全球網路通訊產業的焦點,雲端技術的研發及新服務應用的推展,將是未來國內電信業者發展的重心。

The study conducted a secondary data analysis and a case study. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the context and competitive conditions of telecom market so as to provide some suggestions for business strategy. The results proposed the following suggestions for telecom service industry in Taiwan: (1) Telecom service providers need to provide many types of value-added services and high-speed bandwidth in order to gain a competitive advantage. (2) Telecom service providers should provide a wide array of value-added services in order to grab market share. (3) The focus of future development in telecom industry will be cloud computation technology and its new service applications.
