This paper is a bird's eye view of multipart singing techniques of the indigenous peoples of Taiwan, which are like a "Musical Microcosmos" that contains diversified harmonic practices of the people around the globe. They include occasional multipart, melody with drones, canons, singing in parallel thirds, fourths, and fifths, harmonic singing based on partials of the overtone series, melody with ostinatos, tone clusters, and complex multipart singing.
