Discussion of Teaching Methods Used in International Classes Dominated by Chinese Students

摘要

The Chinese higher education is being more attractive because of the rising global influences of China. The number of international students will increase in Chinese colleges, and more international students will be assigned to classes mostly consist of Chinese students. The situation will be a characteristic of the internationalization of the Chinese higher education in new era. The paper analyzes the current situation of the Chinese higher education and compares the Chinese higher education concepts with the western ones. Considering the cultural diversity and the Chinese higher education resources, the paper propose some considerations about the curriculum design, the lecturing methods, the education resources, the international exchanges, the grading manners, and the innovative education. The considerations can be referred to in the reforms of the internationalization of the Chinese higher education.
