Introduction to the Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Law and On the Jewish Question are important works of Marx during his transition from idealism to materialism and from revolutionary democracy to communism. During this period, Marx no longer indulged in the study of theoretical problems, but turned the focus of his research to practical problems. These two articles contain Marx's early religious thoughts, and it was at this time that he realized the transformation from idealist atheism to materialist atheism. Marx's early religious thought profoundly revealed the relationship between religious liberation and political liberation as well as human liberation, which played an important role in the formation of scientific Marxist religious view. Therefore, the study of these two works is of great significance to our correct and comprehensive understanding of Marxist religious outlook.
