In order to meet the objective requirements of social development and progress, and to reflect the clear banner of advancing with the times, ideological and political education in secondary schools should respond positively to the national development strategy. From the four perspectives of government, school, teacher and student, it is necessary to analyze that ideological and political education in middle schools should stand at the forefront of scientific and technological development and make time for reform and innovation. Under the new historical conditions, the concept of shared development of "everyone's participation and co‐construction and sharing" is not only an important task to be carried out in the current ideological and political education, but also a driving force to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education in middle schools. By introducing the concept of shared development into the ideological and political education of middle schools, we can promote the balanced utilization of educational resources, optimize the work of ideological and political education in middle schools, make the results of shared development better benefit all students, and let the concept of shared development reach out to students, so that they can better grow into socialist builders and successors.
