Tea culture is one of the conveying cultures in my country, and its language contains unique national character and ideological values. There are many kinds of black tea in my country in which foreign friends have a strong interest. However, in the process of understanding this, foreign friends are often confused about the cultural background of Chinese black tea and the professional terms used in product translation, which is not conducive to the promotion of my country's black tea culture and products. From a cross-cultural perspective, starting from the vacancies of word meanings and the complexity of cultural backgrounds in the translation process, this paper finds out the problems existing in the English translation of black tea in my country and proposes relevant strategies.
