"Reflexive control" was first proposed by Russian scholar Vladimir Lefebvre in 1960, and the Russian military successively applied the theory. In the 20th century, Georgia's intention to become a member of NATO threatened Russia's geopolitical strategy, and military and non-military actions ensued. During the Russo-Georgian War in 2008, Russia adopted "reflexive control" and deliberately created conflicts, which entrapped Saakashvili, the President of Georgia, to launch a military operation on the same day as the Olympics opening ceremony. We need to be concerned whether the CCP is practicing "Reflexive control" theory on Taiwan, and conduct the United Front tactic through multiple means to shape a favorable operating environment.
