摘要

本稿は翻訳授業で、旅行ガイドブックや旅行雑誌にみられる屋台グルメの日本語訳を調査対象とし、グルメの訳し方の異同を調べ、それぞれの特徴と問題点をまとめる。そして、台湾で最も人気のあるナイトマーケットである士林夜市を訪れた日本人観光客を対象に、屋台グルメの日本語訳の訳し方の問題点を対面アンケート形式で調査を行う。本稿の目的は、屋台グルメの日本語訳の現状と観光客の意識を調査し、それを比較することによって、料理名を翻訳する際に、いかなる困難があるのかを明らかにし、翻訳授業の履修生の興味．関心を引き付ける授業を作ることにある。また、これらの考察が、料理名の翻訳指導に役立てられることを目指すものである。

本文是以旅遊指南與旅行雜誌中台灣夜市小吃的日譯為調查對象，進行小吃日譯的異同及其特徵分析，並整理相關翻譯問題。我們針對造訪台灣最受歡迎的夜市－士林夜市的日籍觀光客，進行台灣小吃日譯的面談訪問法。本文的目的是透過實地調查，了解夜市小吃名稱的日譯現狀以及觀光客的想法，並藉由不同日譯的比較與分析，找出翻譯小吃時可能遇到的問題，旨在重構能提升學生興趣的翻譯課程。另外，也期望能將成果應用到指導翻譯美食名稱上。｜This paper is for a translation course, which focuses on the Japanese translation of food stalls found in travel guidebooks and travel magazines. Then, we will conduct a face-to-face questionnaire survey on Japanese tourists visiting the Shilin Night Market, the most popular night market in Taiwan, to understand the issue of how to translate Local Specialty Snacks. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the current status of Japanese translation of food stalls and the consciousness of tourists, compare them and find out what difficulties are involved in translating the cuisine name. The goal is to create a class that attracts the interests of the students. In addition, it is intended that these considerations can be used to guide the translation of Taiwanese Cuisine.
