In this paper,explores students' learning effectiveness in Mechanism courses, using Competence-Based Education with Problem-Based Learning.The object of the study is 49 students in the Department of Industrial Education and Technology, National Changhua University of Education, who are taking the course of Mechanism courses.During the research process, students were given an eight-week Competence-Based Education combined Problem-Based Learning course, using a student-centered teaching method, combined with digital assessment and practice, and completing the questionnaire after the eight-week course. The results of the study showed that, in terms of learning motivation, most people found the assessment method interesting and were interested in actually producing a finished product; In terms of teaching content, they believe that the teaching method can improve problem-solving ability and better understand the course content; In terms of learning effectiveness, most people are satisfied with their learning outcomes and feel that they can actually apply what they have learned.
