支持泰雅教育學的文化方案:新竹尖石Lmuhuw採譯保存服務系統的研發

A Cultural Proposal for Supporting Atayal Pedagogy: The Development of Lmuhuw Tradition Preservation Program in Jianshi, Hsinchu

摘要


2019年到2022年,國立清華大學區域創新中心執行科技部「新竹智慧城鄉創生計畫」期間,與尖石鄉嘉興國小合作,研發Lmuhuw採錄、翻譯、雙語文本製作的服務系統。本研究的步驟和目的有五:首先,發現尖石地方「祖先的話」式微,進而建置「Lmuhuw雙語文本採譯製作服務系統」的目標與方法。第二、介紹當地民族實驗學校「泰雅教育學」理念與實施概況,及本計畫如何響應其文化課程並從中發現「文化棲地」等現象。第三、四步驟,依據行動研究法(action research),診斷(diagnosis)並進行服務系統的持續優化。第五、分析新竹縣「一千米落差鄉域」之地理特性與民族教育「返祖研發」現象,發現Lmuhuw雙語文本研發工作具有文化返祖、文化賦權與文化近用的價值,再次確認本計畫對於Lmuhuw文化保存的合適性及成效。

From July 2019 to June 2022, National Tsing Hua University collaborated with Jiaxing Elementary School to research and develop a language preservation program that included recording, translation, and bilingual text preparation of Atayal's Lmuhuw tradition. The program was supported by MOST grants and the Hsinchu Smart City and Village Revitalization Program's Regional Innovation Center. This paper is divided into five research sections: First, discovering that "the ancestors' words" were gradually disappearing in Jianshi, this paper established the objectives and approaches of the program. The second section provides a general introduction to the concepts and practice of Atayal Pedagogy and the Atayal experimental education allies in Jianshi, demonstrating how this program centers on the need for a culture curriculum in an indigenous people's school to preserve the "cultural habitat". Third, as a piece of action research, this paper diagnoses the weaknesses in the program's translation and transcription. It further explores the process of optimizing the "bilingual Lmuhuw text translation production service system" through a translation research society, a study group for classic translations, documentary filmmaking, a green mini trip to Jianshi, and digital humanities. Last, by analyzing Hsinchu County's geographical features, including the "1000-meter gap between villages" and examining "cultural preservation research and development" in Atayal education, the paper notes the value of Lmuhuw bilingual text research and development in cultural preservation, cultural empowerment, and cultural accessibility. This paper demonstrates the current state of the Lmuhuw tradition in Jianshi and the effectiveness of the program for the preservation of the Lmuhuw tradition.
