This study explores a t rue story of life transformation as a result of practicing humanistic Buddhism. The results were obtained from data collected using a qualitative method, the in-depth interview. The participant of the study was a patient diagnosed with leukemia by orthodox medicine. While the subject failed to recover with orthodox medicine, her symptoms have improved significantly through practicing humanistic Buddhism as preached by Master Hsing Yun. Papers documenting the medical tests results are attached for reference. The results showed that, empowered by her belief in Master Hsing Yun's humanistic Buddhism, the participant was able to change her attitudes toward life, which in turn transformed her life and ultimately cured her disease miraculously. She has since cherished her life all the more, no longer fearing death, and has become able to embrace life challenges enthusiastically. She also continues to care for others selflessly and helps taking care of those who has suffered.
