流動觀點下的城市意象解讀

一座城市的在地文化特色，一般應該是明顯易覺的，然而，城市的特色常因社會環境的轉變，不同文化長期的交混，造就了多元文化的混血，使城市的既有印象逐漸模糊而產生另一種風貌。本研究透過解讀城市的方法論，探討中壢的城市意象，從深入觀察城市的外顯特征，探討環境中隱含的的社會質變。研究提出以流動觀點解讀城市的方法，觀察人、地、物的具體變遷，用時間及事件描述為依據，將這些「改變」記錄下來。經過深入觀察城市日常生活中的靜與動，發現城市中存在的「不停」的「流動」，放大流動「軌跡」與流動間的「交集」，提出「流動、停止、軌跡、交集」四種流動現象，從中梳理出屬於城市的流動文化表徵。

The local cultural characteristics of a city should generally be obvious and easy to perceive. However, the characteristics of a city often change due to the social environment and the long term mixing of different cultures, creating a multicultural hybrid, which gradually blurs the existing impression of the city and creates another appearance. This study attempts to explore the urban imagery of Zhongli through the methodology of urban interpretation, and to explore the social changes implied in the environment from an in-depth observation of the external characteristics of the city. The study proposes a method of interpreting the city from a mobile perspective, observing the specific changes of people, places, and objects, and recording these ＂changes＂ based on time and event descriptions. Through in-depth observation of the stillness and movement in the city's daily life, the research discovers the ＂non-stop＂＂flow＂ that exists in the city, enlarges the ＂trajectory＂ of the flow and the ＂intersection＂ between the flows, and proposes four kinds of flow phenomena: ＂flow, stop, trajectory, and intersection＂, from which the cultural symbols of mobility belonging to the city are sorted out.
