都市空間意象探討

The Study of Urban Spatial Image

摘要


本文之研究目的為了解都市意象之定義、意義與概念、都市意象之應用、都市意象之影響因素,便以文獻探討之角度,從不同學派之觀點收集都市意象相關文獻,糞希成果可提供都市設計專業者改善與建構該城鎮都市意象時之參考。因此本文分成四個部分,包括意象之定義、意義與概念部分、空間的知覺圖式、環境意象相關理論回顧與環境意象之影響因素,最後,提出本研究之結論與建議。研究之結論如下:1. 都市設計專業者必須了解地方其根深蒂固之情感、並著重地方情感的塑造,以求從既存意象中「找尋自我」。2. 可靠文化協助打造一個蓬勃有生機的環境,給予地方城鎮一個強而有力的外在形象,並以「創建」的作為改善在地意象,發展成為具有因應時代變化的精緻化之在地文化。3. 將社區規劃過程融入文化,提供社區一個嶄新的、正面的自我意象,而在社區居民參與的機制底下建構未來的都市意象。4. 原有不好的都市意象是可被再造的。5. 應全面建構各地之都市意象,並有助於發展在地化之文化商品,促使國內文化創意產業可向下紮根、向上提升。

並列摘要


The purpose of this research is to try to understand the definition, meaning, concept, application as well as influential elements of the urban image. From the viewpoints of different academic factions and those of different approaches, I have collected the relevant information on urban design, wishing that the result can make urban design experts be capable of improving and constructing the local urban image.Therefore, this research is divided into four partitions: (1) The definition, meaning and concept of the image. (2) Schemata of space perception. (3) The view of theory and literature on urban design. (4) The influence factors of urban design. Finally, the conclusions and suggestions of this research are proposed. The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) The urban design experts will have to understand the deep-rooted emotions of the place, and then focus on the molding of local emotion in order to 'look for oneself' from the local images. (2) To use culture help make a vigorous environment, to offer a powerful external image of local cities and towns, to use creative to improve the local image, and to develop exquisite local culture. (3) To plan the community to incorporate culture in course, and to offer the self-images of a brand-new one, front to the community, to build and to construct the city image in the future under that community residents participate in. (4) Old city images which are not good can be covered and reconstructed. (5) To construct the local urban images all-around, and to contribute to develop the local cultural goods, to impel Creative Industries to take root downwards and improve upwards.
