本研究係針對新竹市政府實施空間改造計畫之後,對於都市空間現況的自明性研究,透過理論學說的探討著手,接著再對過去的相關文獻進行解析以求得論述模型,經過理論學說的理解及模型操作獲得的結果後,再針對竹塹舊城區的都市景觀重構後之自明性呈現提出探討與強化策略,所欲探討的課題如下:(1)竹塹舊城區具歷史人文景觀特性的都市空間之使用情形;(2)如何研擬適當的實證操作方法,分析空間改造計畫落實之後地區自明性建立情況,並找出當前空間改造計畫所面臨的課題與重要環境影響因素;(3)如何透過人文景觀規劃策略之研擬,來營造出具有自明性與在地認同感的都市生活空間。本研究所建立的都市空間自明性分析方法主要步驟為竹塹舊城區景觀結構分析之後,再對舊城區實施空間改造計畫的三大區域:城隍廟北門街地區、東門城護城河地區、火車站中正路地區,進行景觀自明性分析。研究發現城隍廟北門街地區其自明性認知因子前三名為歷史性、地方感、獨特性,東門城護城河地區其自明性認知因子前三名為方向感、地方感、歷史性,火車站中正路地區其自明性認知因子前三名為方向感、活力感、歷史性。最後依據研究結果,嘗試針對面狀區域之自明性整體、線狀系統之自明性空間架構、點狀空間之自明性空間元素三方面,進一步提出新竹市具歷史人文景觀特性之都市空間自明性再強化的建議。
This research is in view of the Hsin-chu municipal government implementing spatial transforming projects during 85 to 95 year, and studies the identity of the urban space. This research begins by discussing the theories, then obtains the operating model by analyzing the past related studies. After understanding the theories and obtaining the result of operating model,it proposes the discussion and the strengthened strategies on the identity of the city reconstruction in the Zhu-Qian downtown area.The topics of this research are as follows:(1)the utilization of the urban space which has the characteristic of historical and humanistic landscape in the Zhu-Qian downtown area;(2)the way to construct a suitable case operating model,the analysis of the regional identity after implementing spatial transforming projects ,and the discoveries of problems which the current spatial transforming projects face and of the important environmental effect factors;(3)the way to construct urban living space which has its identity and identification according to the strategies of humanistic landscape planning.The first step of the urban identity analysis method which has been built by this research is to analyze the landscape structure of the Zhu-Qian downtown area,and the next step is to analyze the landscape identity of three regions which had been transformed in the downtown area.The three regions are Cheng Huang Temple- Bei Men Street Area,East City Gate- Moat Area,and The Train Station -Jung Jeng Road Area. The findings of this research are as follows: the first three identity cognitive factors of Cheng Huang Temple- Bei Men Street Area are the historicity,the sense of place,and the distinctness; the first three identity cognitive factors of East City Gate-Moat Area are the orientation , the sense of place ,and the historicity; the first three identity cognitive factors of The Train Station -Jung Jeng Road Area are the orientation , the vitality ,and the historicity.Lastly,according to the result ,this research tries to propose suggestions which will strengthen the urban identity of the characteristic of historical and humanistic landscape in Hsinchu City.
