嘉義縣大林鎮產業現況之創新設計策略研究

在國際分工的經濟現況，多數開發與開發中國家正面臨到經濟產業發展的問題，台灣也深受影響。台灣許多一級產業發達地區人口外移流向大都市，青壯年也不想返鄉發展，這導致了地方人口驟減與地方高齡化的趨勢，這些問題使得地方人民所得持續下修，在地居民得不到收益的惡性循環下將有更多的地方人口外移，而嘉義縣大林鎮就是其中之一。本研究將遵循10大地方創生鐵則第一條「從小處開始」，大林鎮農業人口佔全鎮7成是一個不折不扣的農業縣，其中旱田約佔32%主要為鳳梨、茂谷柑、竹筍等作物。近年來農業現況每況愈下，先是遇到鳳梨外銷事件、柑橘類黃葉病（柑橘癌症）又遇到氣候異常造成土壤溼度降低導致竹筍產量銳減等等問題，因此本研究將以半結構式訪談、現場觀察及文獻蒐集等方式找尋大林產業現況的機會點，欲將蒐集到的資料分析整合進而整理出改善大林產業現況的創新設計策略。設計專業不僅是產品開發、製造流程改良或技術創新，它也應當被使用在復甦產業上，而本研究希望從大林現有資源發展開始進而循序推廣地方產業的轉型。

The current economic situation of the international division of labor is making most developed and developing countries face their economic and industrial development problems, and Taiwan is no exception. In Taiwan, rural exodus happens in many primary industries areas. Young adults are unwilling to return to their hometowns for their future endeavors, which leads to depopulation, population aging and decreasing income in their hometowns. This vicious circle are causing emigration in more areas, and Dalin township in Chaiyi isone of them. This study follows the first rule " Every oak has been an acorn" from the 10 Placemaking Rules. Dalin's agricultural population accounts for 70% of the entire town, which is undoubtedly an agricultural town. Drylands accounts for about 32% in Dalin and most crops are pineapples, Maogu tangerines, bamboo shoots, etc. In recent years, the current situation of agriculture has been worsening. Problems and incidents like Taiwan's "pineapple wars", citrus yellow leaf disease (citrus cancer), as well as climate change happen. This research is conducted through semi-structured interviews, on-site observation and literature review, in order to find opportunities to improve the current situation of Dalin's agriculture industry. After collecting information, this study provides innovative design strategies through integrating and compiling the information needed. The design profession is not only about product development , manufacturing process improvement or technological innovation, it should also be applied to recover industries. Therefore, this research hopes to start with the development of existing resources in Dalin and gradually promote the transformation of local industries.
