Cannes Lion held the first award about activation advertisement in 2010. Since then, the study of activation advertising also develops gradually. While doing the research of advertisement, we often need to classify samples. Hence, I take the research from Jhong -Sin Gu, the study on Activation Video Ad Effectiveness - the case study of Cannes Lion 2015 Winning Works, as reference to find the new classification of activation ad. I use KJ method and focus group try to find the new way to rank ad sample. The new classification is contextual marketing, rehabilitation of commodity, shop promotion, public performance and media and big event.
