Research on the Design of A Framework for Integrating Virtual Reality Technology with Social-Emotional Learning

摘要


社会-情感学习面向自我认知、自我管理、社会认知、人际交往和负责任的决策等五种能力,旨在帮助个体理解、管理和表达情感,建立和维持良好的人际关系。虚拟现实(VR)技术能够满足社会-情感学习所需的安全的、积极的、有挑战性的支持环境,完成情感唤起、情感调节和社交技能训练,与社会-情感学习需求高度契合。基于此,尝试厘清融合所需的多模态刺激、沉浸式交互、自适应反馈以及社会化环境等技术要素,构建VR技术与社会-情感学习融合的实践框架,阐明其三维结构:在认知维增强情感理解,在情感维实现情感管理,在行为维完成社会性交互。同时,VR技术与社会-情感学习融合框架的优化应更多关注技术自身的情绪效应,积极引入虚拟社会心理的特定规律,适度强化身体图示的联结效应,并不断吸纳技术伦理与文化要素。

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) aims to develop five abilities: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, interpersonal skills, and responsible decision-making, to help individuals understand, manage, and express emotions while establishing and maintaining positive relationships. Virtual reality (VR) technology can provide a safe, positive, and challenging environment that is highly compatible with the needs of SEL, allowing for emotional arousal, emotional regulation, and social skill training. Based on this, the technical elements required for integrating VR technology with SEL, such as multimodal stimulation, immersive interaction, adaptive feedback, and social environments, have been clarified. The practical framework has been constructed for the integration and its three-dimensional structure has been explained, that is: enhancing emotional understanding in the Cognitive Dimension, achieving emotional management in the Emotional Dimension, and completing social interaction in the Behavioral Dimension. At the same time, it is detailed that the optimization of the integration framework should pay more attention to the emotional effects of the technology itself, actively introduce specific rules of virtual social psychology, moderately strengthen the connection effect of body imagery, and continuously absorb technological ethics and cultural elements.
