Smartphone’s penetration rate is rising rapidly inn the past couple years, customers are get used to access the Internet and web services via their handheld device. How to develop critical web service to enhance competitiveness is common focus of all players in this arena. This thesis is trying to figure out the best web service strategy for HTC, a Taiwanese handheld device maker by industry analysis and case study.
